Robert is a good looking guy, with halflong black hair, a short beard and deep brown eyes. He has a strong and fit body, muscular with strong arms and legs. He has multiple tattoos all over his body, the most noticeable on his right arm. They differ in quality, as they have been set by different artists all around the lower ring of Alderrath. He likes to wear cloths that fit him and feel comfortable. This includes a tank top and fitted pants, combined with boots. Around his neck hang dog tags from way back when, but he never tells the story. The one thing he is known for, is his metal left arm. After losing his arm, he got himself a very expensive prosthetic arm. Maybe one day he'll tell people about the story.

Rockerboy, Rebel, Vocalist. Those are the words best describing Robert. The man has a very different world view than most people in Odiria, which lets him clash with almost everyone. His hatred for higher ups and almost everyone who has it better than normal people is his fuel for a raging fire in his chest. And he uses this fire to try and change the world. Although Robert has a very rebellious personality, he also has a softer side, but will always revert back to his self centred egotistic self. Friends are only a mean to an end for him and he's very bad at keeping people close to him. The constant pain he's feeling is the main drive behind his almost angry and destructive personality, which is a side effect of his prosthetic arm. One of his old girlfriends had the perfect description of him: "Best lover, worse husband".

Robert hasn't practiced his magic for as long as most mages, but he has found his expertise fairly early on. He can manipulate fire till a certain extent, forming it in small balls that circle around his left wrist. By concentrating on this balls, he can shoot them at rapid speed to his targets. These balls explode on impact. Just his fondness of explosives makes him a very powerful and unpredictable fighter. Robert can manipulate almost all fire, but not till the same extent as the older students or sun mages. His biggest drawback is his lack of training and the constant pain that he feels from his mechanical left arm. When he loses his concentration, he can burn himself on his own fire. Which is why his body has some burn marks on it.

- Born as first born son of Hubert Linder and Zenira Amendiares-Linder, in the high born Linder family.
- Lived in relative luxury, but got bored very easily.
- Found out about the family secret, his mother was a sun mage from Xaila. She swore off the magic once she got married into the Linder family.
- His brother was born, Robert didn't care much for it.
- Got a good enough education, but wanted to do more.
- Sneaked out of the house at the age of sixteen, lied about his age, and name, and joined the Ashmoorian army.
- It was less exiting than he thought, there was no war at the time of him joining, so he deserted the army and went back home.
- He got into a fight on his way home, a fight bad enough for his entire left arm to be smashed to smithereens. His father took his son back, and paid for the ridiculous expensive prosthetic.
- Robert was lucky to be fully grown by that time, as it saved him a lot of trouble and even more pain. Now he only had to learn how to deal with the pain and his new arm.
- His annoyance started to grow as well, the constant pain and the fact that he felt like nobody was helping him, made him angry and destructive.
- The young man was just twenty two when he came home to his house destroyed. His father had made a deal gone wrong and both his parents got killed. His brother seemed to have vanished.
- As oldest of the family, he inherit a great amount of money, which he used to leave Ashmoor behind. He took his passport, his belongings and left for Odiria.
- Traveling through the lands, he made a few friends, started a small band and became a singer/songwriter. Trying to change the world through their music, they started the Rockerboy movement.
- Decided to ditch his old name and was just called John or Johnny. He only used the Linder name when he sporadically visits Ashmoor, which isn't a lot.
- The band disbanded two years after their tribute, when one of the bandmembers got into a lethal fight after the end of a toxic relationship. Johnny decided to change his goal.
- He travelled to Xaila, found some family from his mothers side and decided to take a shot at becoming a mage.
- Although his believe wasn't the strongest, he was a quick learner and his fiery and destructive personality helped him a lot with his training.
- Now, after ten years, Johnny decided he had enough, he wanted to go back to traveling. Using his new found magic for good, his good. To watch this world burn.

- Got intro trouble with his teachers a lot because he was doodling, or writing lyrics instead of practicing his magic.

- Johnny is straight, but if he's high or drunk enough he doesn't care who ends up in his bed.
- Johnny takes daily painkillers for the chronic pain in his arm.
- He asked a friend to slightly modify his arm, so now there are two blades sticking out from the elbow.
- Wears dog tags from his days in the army, he will not tell you how he got them.
- Has the tendency to be sarcastic and narcissistic, and he's mistrusting of almost everyone.
- The pain made him hate almost everything, but he doesn't remember the reason why he wants to see the world burn.
- Is secretly afraid of death and dying.
